250 organisations voice concern over CAP reform

Eurogroup for Animals has joined more than 250 NGOs in signing an open letter on the Common Agricultural Policy reform to all the Members of the European Parliament.

This should be a wakeup call for all Members of the European Parliament that civil society is concerned about the way that the current reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) has been managed by the European Parliament’s Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI).

In March, the full European Parliament will decide upon its final negotiating position and civil society organisations ask all MEPs to grasp this last opportunity and act on behalf of real public interest.
