Eurogroup for Animals applauds the Dutch Senate for passing new law that bans the farming of mink for fur in the Netherlands with a total phase-out by 2024. This victory sends a clear signal to other European Countries that they must stop this cruel and unnecessary practice.

Important discussions to ban ritual slaughter in Poland were held at national level over the past weeks throughout the country. The Polish Constitutional Tribunal declared last week that such slaughter is illegal according to Polish law.
