Canadian and Norwegian governments move to proceed with WTO challenge against the EU seal ban

Eurogroup for Animals is extremely disappointed that Canada and Norway have decided to resume their challenge of the EU ban on the trade of seal products by restarting the panel composition process which was initiated in 2011

We believe that the EU ban is not in contradiction with WTO law and urge the European Commission to defend the ban vigorously.  EU citizens believe strongly that the trade in seal products must be banned and the EU must defend that position.
