Countdown to EU’s full ban on animal testing for cosmetics
Posted on 04/03/2013
Eurogroup for Animals is getting prepared to celebrate the full implementation of the ban on marketing and testing of cosmetics on animals on 11 March 2013.
As we count down the final days, we will review some important key facts of the EU cosmetics Directive 2003/15/EC, first of its kind in the world, which was adopted by the European Parliament and the Council of Ministers in January 2003.
Our national and international member societies have been actively involved and we will also use this week as an excellent opportunity to highlight their activities on cosmetics, and celebrate this important milestone for animals together!
Stay tuned for updates through our social media channels on Facebook, Twitter (#EUcosmeticslaw), Google+ and LinkedIn
