We are very pleased to welcome two new member organisations: The Association for the Promotion of Coexistence Korina and the Society for the Protection of Animals Ljubljana.

Learn more about our new members:

The Association for the Promotion of Coexistence Korina

Founded in 2017, the Association for the Promotion of Coexistence Korina is a non-governmental and non-profit association striving towards promotion of coexistence between humans, animals and nature in Montenegro.

Their main focus is on promoting the rights of animals in the widest sense, and in lobbying and campaigning for humane animal welfare laws, increased visibility of animals rights issues in all sectors, and better enforcement of animal welfare laws. Examples of activities they have undertaken during the past four years include legal advocacy to increase public awareness of and access to legal processes for reporting animal abuses and coordinating training for local police forces in animal rights and enforcement of animal welfare laws.

Society for the Protection of Animals Ljubljana

Founded in 1999, the Society for the Protection of Animals Ljubljana is a voluntary, charitable, non-profit organisation whose mission is to enable all animals a dignified life without suffering. It is based on the awareness that the animals we co-exist with are sentient beings with species-specific needs that we need to consider and respect. They implement their mission through information, education and training in the field of animal protection. For example, they work to educate children and adults in the field of animal protection and the importance of respecting all animals and assist in finding suitable homes for homeless animals and counselling (potential) adopters of animals.

We look forward to a fruitful collaboration with our new members. Want to learn more about joining Eurogroup for Animals? Click here for information on becoming a member organisation
