I find the fact that Cyprus is being asked to implement law for animal welfare. You would do better sending independant inspectors to the island to see the lack of repsect for animals. The lack of goverment will to prosecute animal abusers. The Ministry Vets who do not understand the law and the fact they are able to remove injured, starving and abused animals from premises and farms, The police who refuse to take action and side with the abusers. This is the country you expect to make things happen with regard to animal health, It is a joke. Kindly follow this link on FACEBOOK….Cyprus Animal Liberation Front. This will show you the horrors to animals which is a daily happening. Read the older posts about the Finance Minister of Cyprus’s wife. Throwing out a puppy in the trash bin! Of course she blamed someone else which is the Cypriot way. I expect this mail will be ignored as agencies like yours refuse to help. But i believe in miracles, so I may get a reply. Thank you. Jo Petteford.
FYO before Cyprus became a full member of the EU, writing a letter like this would have meant I would have been thrown of the island. You don’t criticize the Cypriots!!!

I would like to ask WHY has nobody done anything about all the cruelty on this Island..not even bothered to reply to this posting from the 2012 07 16. So much more cruelty, now leading to Child abuse. This Island is SICK!!..and the abusers need to be punished with zero tolerance, and for all Authorities to implement the laws correctly. Thank you

It seems the local Municipality in Aradippou is illegally murdering dogs because they can??
It seems Cypriot banks can help themselves to people’s money?
It seems this is a place where people shouldn’t go for a holiday,.
It seems to be a place where nightmares exist, and Hell before Heaven!
