Eurogroup for Animals has today launched its brand new website which raises the issues of animal welfare in Europe. Using the latest technology it allows members of the public to interact with the organisation and it provides a one-stop location for the latest information on its work and how the public can become involved in raising awareness and standards.
The website is also designed to build a community sharing expertise and knowledge and includes several social media tools including Twitter and Facebook to ensure users can stay in touch, kept up-to-date and be informed regularly.
“This represents a major step forward in our communication on animal welfare issues. The site provides information on all of the areas currently worked on by Eurogroup and allows users to interact directly with us,” said Sonja Van Tichelen, Director at Eurogroup for Animals.
“The new website also helps members of the public to become involved in the campaigns we are working on, helping them to get their voice heard and to work with us to improve animal welfare,” she concluded.
