Practical guide on the application of the EU Zoo Directive now available

Eurogroup is pleased to report that the English version of the highly regarded Spanish guide for applying the EU Zoo Directive is now available. The original Spanish guide was developed in 2006 (second edition in 2010) in collaboration with our member organization, ANDA, and Eurogroup.

The Zoos Directive 1999/22/EC gives a clear mission to zoological parks: to become true partners in the conservation of biodiversity.

Entitled 'The zoological park, a new ally for biodiversity', this guide provides tools for all the professionals and people involves in making this objective a legal, technical and ethical reality.
