Founded in 1995, Aerzte für Tierschutz in der Medizin (Doctors for Animal Protection in Medicine) is an organisation composed of doctors and medical professionals, and has the main objective to reduce and ultimately eliminate animal experiments. They are currently focusing on the roadmap for phasing out animal testing, instigating reform amongst animal testing commissions, improving patient safety, and creating transparency in animal testing.
